Dear God-tracker

GOD-TRACKING IS NEVER DENYING THAT GOD HAS PLANS FOR THE GOOD, IN YOUR LIFE

If you have repented of sin, acknowledged Christ as Lord and surrendered your life to serving God then you have every right to call Jesus your personal Lord and Saviour. (If you have not yet this then I encourage you to humbly admit your need of God's forgiveness and call on the name of Jesus, now.) I believe that we can refer to Jesus as our personal Saviour, because when we come to God through his blood, the Father gives us the Holy Spirit. Therefore, through intimate fellowship with the Holy Spirit (who is God) you gain a personal relationship with the Almighty omnipresent and omniscient God. I dare say, therefore, as the senior partner in that relationship, it's fair to say that God has a plan for your life.

I believe that there are only three entities that could ever have any influence upon your future. These are: 1.) God, 2.) the devil, and 3.) you. Have no doubt, the devil, through his minions, has a plan to derail the future of every believer though disaster and disappointment. But even his plans are subject to God's control. This we see in the life of Job. You, on the other hand, have the freedom to make your own plans in life. Unfortunately, you don't know the future and so can only hope that your plans will succeed. However, if you truly acknowledge Christ as Lord then you have surrendered your life's control and your future to his lordship. If you still retain control over your plans then I would suggest that Christ is not truly Lord of your life. In other words, as a true Believer, you have chosen to acknowledge God in all your ways and thereby, have chosen to subject your life's plans to his course. Scripture is plain when it says that God has plans to give a hope and a future to those who seek him.

There are some who dispute this premise saying that it's not true that God plans our lives. They insist that disasters, bereavement and disappointment cannot be realised within plans that God may devise. But, as I suggested, oftentimes man makes his own plans without acknowledging God. The Bible is clear about this scenario, too. It says, "The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit." And, "The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble." What these people forget is the fact that all things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose. Indeed, even the bad stuff works out for our good by God's plans, if we continue to acknowledge him!

One biblical precedent to confirm this truth can be found in the story of Paul traveling back to Jerusalem after his second missionary trip. He was warned many times that he would be arrested in Jerusalem. In the natural, Paul might have planned to avoid this tragedy but he continued to acknowledge God and submit to his plans. Paul was arrested on arriving in Jerusalem and ended up being taken to prison in Rome. On the way there he was even shipwrecked and landed up on a little known island called, Malta, Here he was instrumental in great revival. Also, while in Roman imprisonment, Paul wrote several epistles that we have in the Bible, influencing your life today.

God turned the bad into the good, according to the plans he had for Paul. If Jesus is your personal Lord and Saviour then he will do the same in your life, if you continue to acknowledge him and trust in his plans for your future. This is God-tracking at its best.

God-tracking is never denying that God has plans for the good, in your life.

Keep acknowledging God.

A Sample of Dudley's Fave Quotes.

"When the Lord gives you a sense of purpose, that purpose ruins you for anything else. Nothing else will ever bring true peace, because peace is found only in pursuing the purposes of God." --- Brian Houston

Don't Give Up, Look Up!
Look up and Fix Your Eyes on Jesus!

I refuse to walk by my own reason and place my trust in you by walking by faith and not be sight

Pray:
"My Lord I thank you for the plans you have for my life. Help me to seek and track your plans every day. I believe your word when it says that all things work out according to your purposes and for my good; even the bad things. So, I surrender my life plans to you and acknowledge you in all my ways. I place my trust in you alone to direct my paths and work my future out for your glory. Thank you that you have helped me through trying times in the past and will do so in the future, too. Reveal your plans to me as I remain on-track with your word. I refuse to walk by my own reason and place my trust in you alone, by walking by faith and not by sight. Amen."
