Are You Disqualified?

by Annagail Lynes

And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. Matthew 8:2

The leper comes to Jesus. He worships Jesus and says, "Lord, if you are willing"

If You are willing.

Somehow we have gotten the concept of God that He doesn't want us healed, that He doesn't want us saved, that He doesn't want us to prosper in every area of lives.

This is not true.

It is not God who disqualifies us from all that God has for us.

Remember He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness (II Peter 1:3). Prosperity in every area of our lives is a part of that.

He has already given us the victory.

It is sitting under wrong doctrine in our churches that disqualifies us from God's will for our lives.

It is God's will to heal (I Peter 2:24) our mortal bodies (Romans 8:11), the ones we have now.

We don't see the manifestation of our healing. We don't see the manifestation of prosperity in our finances, our marriage, our careers because we don't know these things have already been given to us.

We don't have to qualify for these things. They are not based on our works. They are based on what Jesus did for us at the cross (II Corinthians 5:21).

All we have to do is believe. That is our only job in the matter.

Only we have believed wrong. We have believed that God doesn't want to heal everyone, that God doesn't want to prosper us in every area of our lives.

God is no respector of persons (Acts 10:34). What He has done for one, He will do for you. He already has.

Everything for life and godliness are already yours. These gifts have already been given to you.

All you have to do is believe.

To believe, I would meditate on Biblical promises that pertain to your situation (Joshua 1:8). I would mutter them over and over again to yourself until you start to believe them effortlessly.

Then I would remind God in prayer of His promises and thank Him that those promises are already yours.

Thanksgiving is the key to seeing the manifestation. Thanksgiving is the highest form of faith because we are putting our faith on the line.

When we thank, we are basically saying, "Lord, I don't see it in the nature, but I know what Your Word says. I know that it is already done."

Remember all you have to do is believe (Mark 5:36).
