'Are we there yet?'

Definitely not!

"Dear friends, I urge you as strangers and temporary residents to abstain from fleshly desires that war against you. Conduct yourselves honorably among the Gentiles, so that in a case where they speak against you as those who do what is evil, they will, by observing your good works, glorify God on the day of visitation (1 Peter 2:11-12 HCS)."

Drifters often held key roles in old western movies and TV programs. Most were not gunslingers, merely men who had no desire to put down their roots in Wild West towns. I sense a strong similarity in Christ followers. We don't hang our hats; no siree, we're just passin' through.
