A loincloth and the guy who boasts in the Lord

Please read Jeremiah 13:111
God asked Jeremiah to get a loincloth and put it around his waist. And then he asked him to go bury it. After many days, he went for it and it was so freaking useless eh?

Here's what I have come to understand by the grace of God.
A loincloth is only useful and important when it is being worn by a person. In our days I will liken the loincloth to a man's boxers. It might be extremely filthy in the course of the day even when it is still being worn by the dude. It might have urine residue, poop residue (you know, those few times when some of the poop stays in your boxers for no reason?) and even semen. But even then, it is important because the wearer is wearing it and he is using it to cover his man parts. But as soon as he removes it. As soon as he decides he doesn't want to wear it again for the day, suddenly, it is one filthy piece of clothing! It smells of urine and poop and semen. It is dirty and smelly and just plain disgusting!

"All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away."  Isaiah 64:6 NIV

And that is how humans are! On our own we think we are important (underwear). But the truth is we are filthy and dirty and stinking rags, full of our selves just like that underwear is full of all them nasty things. We are full of shit  lmao! But attached to God, we are useful! The creator of the entire universe has use for us.

How much do you think Michael Jackson's underwear would cost at an auction? A million dollars? Hell yeah! A simple underwear's attachment to a superstar has made it worth more than a great number of people will ever earn in their entire lifetime on earth.
We are only useful and important when we are attached to God my people!

So God says in the same book of Jeremiah:
This is what the Lord says:
"Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,"declares the Lord."  Jeremiah 9:2324 NIV

That is all! You are affiliated with world's the universe's' most powerful person. Not only is he the ruler of the earth, the world and the universe, he is its creator!
So what if you are his loincloth? Even Michael Jackson's boxers thinks it is more important that human beings. How much more you, the apple of God's eye?
He has more rosh than the word rosh! He is mighty and powerful. He is awesome and one hell of a dude!
Take pride in your personal knowledge in the almighty God. And if you don't know him, know him now. He is worth more than a billion dollars.
