Family names are frequently fascinating. The same holds true for places we visit or call home. In Holmes County, Florida a small number populate a community named 'Prosperity.' Apparently, early settlers saw great potential in the area.

Looking closer to my current home, I point out the town of Lake Providence, Louisiana. Aye, we rest in God's providence

Joseph discerned God's omnipotence and guidance despite his personal woes.

"Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life (Genesis 45:5 KJV)."

God provides, he sustains and preserves life.

"And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance (Genesis 45:7 KJV)."
