'Let's get to the root of the problem.' Interesting phrase
I surmise there is also a root to the solution!
"And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse,
Who shall stand as a banner to the people;
For the Gentiles shall seek Him,
And His resting place shall be glorious (Isaiah 11:10 NKJ)."
Other scriptures come to mind.
"And the remnant who have escaped of the house of Judah
Shall again take root downward,
And bear fruit upward.
For out of Jerusalem shall go a remnant,
And those who escape from Mount Zion.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this (Isaiah 37:31-32 NKJ)."
From the New Testament
"And again, Isaiah says:
'There shall be a root of Jesse;
And He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles,
In Him the Gentiles shall hope (Romans 15:12 NKJ)."
I am rooted and grounded in the Redeemer.
"As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving (Colossians 2:6-7 NKJ)."
