Friends - Human Jewels

by Sonja Mattison
12/20/2016 / Relationships

Friends are like precious jewels; they are rare, refined, and can cut at times, yet friends are as valuable as shining diamonds. One friend can make a true difference in our lives along with bringing joy and purpose. When someone cares about us, and is willing to accept us as we are, stretch forth their help, and stand up for us, that is a definite true friend.

Unique and original, friends are extraordinary and exceptional people. As helpers, listeners, critics, and lenders friends bring meaning to our daily lives. With their various personalities, they hold many qualities. Some are wonderful with explaining the up and downs about life and helping us to reason with the many difficulties life may bring. Others are giving and generous, giving us more than they can actually afford even we are not in need of anything.

Aside from our friends that are instilled with many good characteristics such being open-hearted, occasionally friends may rattle our nerves from time to time. Disagreements and honest criticism can occur, and as a result, hurt us, but the beauty of it is we all get over the temporary hurt, and establish new goings in which we move forward in our friendships. Not only do friends bring harmony into our lives, but they help us realize our talents, and the significance of our well-being.

Fortunately, we can build trust in our friends while share personal feelings, emotions, and ideas. Also, they become perfect people when we become weak, and need someone to lean on. Most of all, they are best when we want to share our joy, laughter, and humor to rejoice. Without them, life is unimaginable. Just think if life existed in complete solitude it would be seriously miserable.

Because we are composed of emotions and countless thoughts, there is a need for expression. Thus, we are meant to communicate with love in universal harmony. There are more than a billion people to have as friends, but it is not a dire need. One or a simple handful will suffice. Friends are the best even with imperfections and flaws. As long as we have them our lives are complete.

Be thankful for your friends.
