"... Put on the full armor of God"(eph.6:11, KJV).
I've heard my pastor "put on" God's armor in prayer. However, many recent sermons on this important part of the Christian life inspired me to look up most of the parts in Strong's Concordance. As I meditated on what I learned, the Lord revealed to me that although prayer was crucial to God's protection. Clothing ourselves with the armor comes down to an intimate knowledge of Word of God. If we want God's protection, we must read, meditate on and study His Word.
