Thought: Our son was 18 months old when he spent almost two weeks at Children's Hospital in Denver due to a rare birth defect that almost took his life. A miracle was performed by the physicians skilled hands who repaired the damage. After we brought him home I made arrangments to begin payment on the large debt that had incurred. The billing department clerk informed me that our bill was PAID IN FULL. Much to my astonishment I asked her "how can this be?" She informed me that our son was placed on a teachers case program because of his rare condition. The upcoming interns were to learn from our son's unusual case. It reminded me of the words from our Lord who paid the ransome to free us from sin, death and hell. " I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you." His last words on the cross were "It is finished." We are redeemed by his shed blood on the cross. He paid the price that was required for sin and took it upon himself to free mankind from it's bondage. Money cannot buy our way into Heaven. We must be born again of the Spirit. When a person invites Christ into their life they are no longer in bondage to the world because Jesus paid the price in full and offers forgiveness as a gift with no strings attached.

Jesus plea to return to Him should be on the hearts of all America if this nation is to survive. Like Ninevah, it's people were saved from inpending destruction because they repented and came out of their sins putting God first place in their heart. I truly believe we are in a Ninevah reprieve at this time in history so that America can once again proclaim to be a Christian nation. Like Sodom and Gamorra if America's people persists in their defiance shaking their fist at God he has his timing when he will put an end to their disobediance. Our Salvation has been PAID IN FULL by the blood of Christ. The decision is ours to make . Do we accept this gift of amaging grace or reject it with consequences?

Prayer: Father God, you paid the price for my sin through Jesus shed blood. I have been forgiven and on my way to Heaven. No one can come to you without going through Jesus who is the way, the truth and the life. Amen

Verse: I Cor. 6:19-20 "Haven't you yet learned that your body is the home of the Holy Spirit God gave you and that he lives within you? Your own body does not belong to you. For God has bought you with a great price. So use every part of your body to give glory back to God, because he owns it."
