The Awakening

The wakening carries a special meaning. It represents a level of awareness like that which comes after a long sleep. To those who have never had a Holy Spirit experience, it will be mind blowing and earth shaking! The church of the United States has been in a coma for far too long. It is in need of a revival where the awakening of us Christians to a heavenly reality is revealed!

 As things in the world get worse it becomes more and more important that today’s church stand up, step up and speak up! We are in need of a powerful move of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. Where the spark of the Spirit that we have all but snuffed out in each of us is fanned to flame in a consuming unquenchable fire of the Holy Spirit!

It’s a flame that brings with it boldness, courage and zeal that was manifested in each of the disciples after the upper room Holy Spirit experience, Acts 2. From that moment on none of them were ever the same.   These men were the same men who just a few weeks earlier were running and hiding for their lives now preached with boldness and conviction in synagogues and out in public.

Mark 6:7 “And He called the twelve [disciples] and began to send them out [as His special messengers] two by two, and gave them authority and power over the unclean spirits. “ Mark 6:12-13 12“So they went out and preached that men should repent [that is, think differently, recognize sin, turn away from it, and live changed lives]. 13 And they were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil many who were sick, and healing them.”

Too many of today’s churches have abandoned the teachings of the bible for a more “seeker friendly” version that won’t offend anyone. Anytime they are asked about doing miracles, being filled with the Holy Spirit and the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit they will tell you that it died with the disciples and isn’t for today’s Christians. You know I can’t find that anywhere in the bible. The New Testament sums up the new covenant that we NOW live under. Which means that if it happened there it can happen here!

John 14:12-14 12”Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”

An awakening of today’s church that shakes the very core of who you are in Christ is near! YOU are a child of the King. A child of the King lacks for NOTHING! Being a child of the King carries its own responsibilities. For being a child of the King is not a spectator sport. You are REQUIRED to “get into the game”, being actively involved everyday!

An awakening that opens your heart and mind to the fullness of being a child of the King, the Lord Most High. Matthew 7:11 “If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, HOW MUCH MORE will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!”

“Faith comes by hearing” so when you declare God’s Word and will out loud you hear it spoken and it will bolster your faith. So declare the following out loud…

I am in perfect health. I am rich in all things. I am wise in my decisions and thinking. For being healthy, wealthy and wise is God’s will as stated in John 3:2.   I am a child of the King of kings and Lord of lords. I am a child of the Lord of hosts the Creator of all things. I am God’s child whom I call my Father God! I am who Father God says that I am and I will do whatever Father God says that I will do! In Jesus name Amen!
