Ever Walked Past God?

Have you ever had someone say
"You just walked right by me today
I was trying to say Hi to you
But, you were absorbed in something to do"

"I called your name but you didn't hear
You had no clue that I was so near
I waved my hand to cause you to see
But, you never even turned to look at me"

"I wondered what was so intense and compelling
That held your determination and avoided my yelling
I realized then that I wasn't going to win
Something else was louder than all my din"

"So, I turned and continued on my way
Hoping that you would enjoy your day
It was disappointing that you never gave a nod
Until I wondered if I had ever walked right past God"

My poems are spiritual lessons God teaches me in my walk with Him. The more I learn, the more I find I need to be taught by Him. If we really want to be like Him we have to be ready for all the changes He brings to us.
