A PARDON THAT LASTS FOREVER

Thought: When a person breaks the law of the land he is brought before a judge who sentences him to so many years in prison. When he completes his sentence he's pardoned and released, given freedom to return to the real world outside the prison gates. What kind emotions does he experience having put in his time for the offense and released from guilt? Pure adulation!

We as God's special creation experience the same emotions when we accept the pardon Jesus offer's through his one time sacrifice of himself upon the cross. Having been blameless without sin he took upon himself all the bad things Satan could invent and paid the price that we should have paid for our disobedience to his laws. He pardon's us and sets us free from guilt giving each of us power to live out our lives according to his plan from the very beginning of our first breath.

Salvation is a pardon for all the bad choices we make in life. It free's us up to go on in a new direction that pleases our Father God. Our life slate is wiped clean. " How different I feel now! When someone becomes a Christian he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same anymore. A new life has begun ! All these new things are from God who brought us back to himself through what Christ Jesus did." This coming Easter experience the adulation that comes with the salvation pardon God offers us all. Jesus is alive!! Invite him into your life today. Maranatha

Prayer: Father God, thank you for this pardon you offer me through Jesus sacrifice. A free gift for all mankind freeing us up from the guilt of sin. I have the confidence that my real home is now heaven with you and my loved ones that have gone on before me. My life does not end in death but enters into a whole new beginning that will last forever. Amen

Verse: II Cor. 5:21 " For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
