Truth Treats

The Truth will Set You Free    (John 8:30-32): “As Jesus spoke these things, many believed in Him. So He said to the Jews who had believed Him,“If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”… Berean Study Bible

from Acts 4:19, 20: “…Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge, for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.” 

Most of us eat at least two meals a day; some of us, three or more (including snacking). And of course we must have water. 

But more than our daily food, we need the Living Word of God! For Jesus IS the Word, as John 1:1-3 (AMPC) says: "In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.He was present originally with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being."

Even Jesus, the LORD Himself, stated in John 4:34 that, "My food (nourishment) is to do the will (pleasure) of Him Who sent Me and to accomplish and completely finish His work." (AMPC)

We feed our bodies, but the REAL us--our spirits--must have spiritual food, which is the Word of God, the Scriptures. We are a triune being; spirit, soul, and body, as verified here in Thessalonians 5:23: “And the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly, and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 

So, when we feed our spirits (the eternal part of us), we also are nourishing and benefitting our souls (mind, will, emotions), as well as our bodies! Everything emanates from our spirits! 

As Colossians 3:4 (Berean Study Bible) says, "...For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Put to death, therefore, the components of your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires, and greed, which is idolatry.…"

So let us rise up and worship the LORD in spirit and truth (John 4:24), and let Him "Treat us to a feast while our enemies watch!" (Psalm 23:5) by reading and feeding and being strengthened by the ORGANIC, non-GMO PURE Word of God!  HALLELUJAH!
