VISIONS OF THE KING - Resting in the Arms of Jesus

The eternal God is your refuge and dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms... -- Deuteronomy 33:27, AMPC

Through the years, I often struggled with falling asleep, because thoughts of fear or frustration would keep me awake. I was not obeying the Word, which says to "humble yourself and cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you."

But the good LORD helped me start envisioning my wonderful LORD Jesus, waiting for me in a lovely garden, which was part of the outward courts of the Temple in Heaven.

I would envision myself as a little girl, about 5 years old.

I would run up to Jesus, Who was smiling at me, and He'd pick me up in His strong loving arms. It was just me and Him. He would hug me close, and hold me as a daddy holds his little girl.  Then I would quickly fall asleep, my head on His strong shoulder, and I would be perfectly at peace, resting in His arms. 

The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. Jeremiah 31:3, KJV

True rest, true peace, can only come by being born again into the eternal Kingdom of Light; the Kingdom of God's dear Son, where Jesus Christ is Savior and LORD. 

If you have not been born again and want to receive Christ Jesus as your Savior, LORD, and Best Friend forever, please say this prayer out loud: 

Dear Jesus, I acknowledge and say that You alone are LORD and God. I thank You for dying for me on the cross by shedding all of Your blood to pay the terrible debt of all my sins. I ask You to please forgive me and come into my heart and be my Savior and LORD and Best Friend Forever.

I renounce satan and all of his works in my life, forever.   

I receive You and ask You to help me know You and walk in Your ways. I thank You that in this new life in which I follow You, I will go to be with You in Heaven when this body dies. Thank You so much! In Your Name, amen!

Now, if you just said that prayer and meant it, you are truly born again! God is now your loving Father (I John 3:1), Jesus is your Brother, Defender, and Good Shepherd, Who will always be with you and will lead you in right paths. Also, the angels are having a party to celebrate your most excellent decision (Luke 15:7)!

Your spirit has been translated from the temporary kingdom of darkness into the eternal Kingdom of Light of God's dear Son, King Jesus (Colossians 1;13-14)!

It is a rebirthing of your spirit!

Ask the LORD to show you the right church body for you to become part of, and for the right Bible to study. Remember there are multiple versions and languages online to use! He will help you.

Ask the LORD to help you listen to music that glorifies Him. There are many excellent Christian stations online that play praise and worship 24/7.

Start praying--simply communicating--to your Father (We pray to the Father, in the Name of Jesus, for Jesus is our High Priest, but we have a direct line to Father God through Christ Jesus!), Who loves you and wants an eternal relationship with you, which is the main reason Jesus died! 

He will help you--for His Spirit is the Helper Who is with you now, forever! (He will never leave you nor forsake you! Hebrews 13:5)

Congratulations on making the best decision of your life (John 10:10)!
