Meditating of God's Love

How many of God’s people deep down visualise Him more as a judge than a Saviour. Really and truly how many? Satan is working hard to get us to believe that God doesn’t love us and that He is waving a stick around ready to beat us down whenever we fall. That is what Satan wants us to believe. God is nothing like what most people visualise. Before sitting down to prayer, it is good to practise a quiet meditation of visualising yourself with the Father loving you. Try to see yourself as a small toddler on our Heavenly Fathers’ lap and see Him playfully stroking your head. Or play ‘this little piggy’ with your toes just like a human parent would. Or imagine you are giving Jesus a bear hug and kiss Him on His lips. I tell you most people will find this a very difficult exercise. I personally find it hard as well. God has told me I put too much emphasis on my being unworthy. How many of us think that way. We are unworthy, but by the blood of Jesus. I am trying to practise 15 minutes before prayer, visualising the presence of God’s love for me. I am hoping more people will give it ago. Be a sponge and just absorbs Gods’ love.

 I believe this exercise will strengthen our connection with God. We need to have real faith for the future. The future is going to be tough when the anti-christ reigns. We won’t have the luxury of having a bible or any holy books to help us. We won’t have the internet to listen to prophets comforting and strengthening us. We will have to rely completely on having a solid and strong connection with God just like the prophets have. We need to be able not only hear Gods voice but be able to discern it. So we can follow the Holy Spirits instructions. That might sound impossible to you, but one prophet going by the name of Sadhu Sundar Selvaray was told by God that God wants to talk to us more than we want Him to. The problem is Jesus said we won’t spend time with Him. I believe meditating on having the relationship with God that we are wanting will help tremendously.

Meditate you are walking along side Jesus admiring the garden together. See God the Father smiling at you. Picture the Holy Spirit dancing with you. It is very hard visualising for some people including me, but I believe this is a short cut of getting to know the real God. I believe if you persist, God will step in and show Himself to you. He has with me a few times. I haven’t honestly meditate this way much myself. I am just starting in earnest, but the few times I have done it God has shown His delight in me doing it. One time I imagine climbing a tree with my cats and Jesus. That pleased Him. So try to let your head ago and just be a child again and imagine.

Prayer is so powerful and we need to pray for everybody not just our family.
