The Loneliness Pandemic

Loneliness is a very real problem as we hunker down in our homes to help avoid the spread of Covid-19. Personally, I miss my Saturday evening crochet club where a group of us girls would gather at our local craft store to crochet caps for cancer patients. I miss the conversation, the crochet tips and the sense of camaraderie that stemmed from working together towards a common goal. I'm not sure when or if our crochet group will ever meet in person again but verse Zephaniah 3:17 talks about a companion who will never leave our side-Jesus Christ. 

Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy;he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.-KJV

Prayer: Father, help us to not feel lonely during this trial and to take comfort in your Holy presence.
