Our Love

I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine...Song of Solomon 6:3 (KJV)

 

Much sweeter than candy

Much finer than wine

All others can tell

Our love is divine.

 

As eagles we fly

So high above;

Soaring, we rise

In Son-drenched Love.

 

We are free

Though we have sinned;

We follow the One

Who walks on the wind.

 

Zoe life to us He brings,

And delights in our devotion;

Over us He speaks and sings

The fire of Holy motion.

 

Healing, revealing, faithful, and true,

You in me; me in you;

He's skillfully fashioning

One out of two.

 

Blessed be the LORD Who is so good!

From strife and pain He gives release;

All our anger He's understood--

Covenant, cleansing, rest, and peace.

 

As one we adore our LORD, the Christ,

God's objet d'art and Heaven's King;

the Father's ultimate Sacrifice--

The One to Whom we owe everything! 

 

We serve with joy in one accord,

Free and mighty in Christ the Son;

More than conquerers in the LORD,

Through every challenge the war is won!
