Defeating Vampires

Years ago, I woke from a nightmare and wondered why I’d even experienced it twice in the same night, until I understood that I was supposed to write about it to help people.

With this insane adoration of vampires--who are, like the unicorn, completely mythological creatures, fabricated by some long-ago author, for real “vampires” are the vampire bats, and I’m sure they did not drink blood until after Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden--and other unreal and ungodly things, there are lots of opportunties for the enemy to deceive and destroy people, even Christians.

In the dream, I’d been fleeing to a building from a very bad storm (while I rebuked the storm in Jesus name, of course), and suddenly (of course, for as Jesus said, We “will do greater things than (He did) (in the power of the Holy Spirit only), the sky started clearing (but that is another (victorious) article).

I got to the destination to find that people I knew there had turned into vampires and were going to attack me. But I commanded them in Jesus name to attack each other (The cross is useful against them, see?! No joke there—the cross/the Blood of the Lamb/the Name of Jesus works on every curse that would attack and drain the life out of you—quickly or slowly!).

Then the “help” I’d called to deal with the attack turned out to be one herself.

Sigh. Here we go again; talk about "unmet expectations" and betrayal!

Leviticus 17:11 (KJV): “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.”

In the blood is the life. Jesus said that. The only true life-Giver is Jesus, with HIS blood. He died that we might live!

By the way, in ceremonies and rituals, real blood (of people or animals) is only drunk by true devil worshippers. Unless they get born again through THE life-giving Blood of Jesus Christ, they are doomed to certain hell and destruction!

But when Believers in Christ Jesus take Communion (I Corinthians 11:23-26) to celebrate Jesus' atoning death for us on the cross which wiped away all our sins (John 3:15-17) and made us acceptable to God the Father, Who is holy, we drink (unfermented) grape juice to represent Christ's pure blood.

Truly, many people are living nightmares today, with "vampires" constantly chasing them and causing destruction. But the LORD Jesus said in John 10:10, “I came that they might have life, and have it more abundantly.”

The answer to defeat the vampires is the cross--to be covered with the eternal, unconquerable, pure Blood of Christ Jesus!

If you want the true Covenant protection and abundant life in Christ, ask the LORD Jesus to forgive you of your sins and come into your heart and life and be your LORD and Savior and Best Friend, and He will! You will be translated into the eternal, victorious, glorious Kingdom of Light, and when He returns (very soon!), He will take you with the other Believers in Him to Heaven!
