Kingdom Immigration Officers

by Olawale Ogunsola

"But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life." Revelations 21:27. New King James Version (NKJV).

The above quoted verse relates to the coming New Jerusalem, where there will be absolute peace. No filthy things will be permitted there. It is a Holy city reserved for Holy people of God. May we be part of the people in Jesus name. Those who miss this city will engage in gnashing of teeth eternally in Hell.

Do you know that there are Angels who are Kingdom Immigration Officers who will not allow anything and anyone who is defiled or who can defile to be allowed into the Paradise or kingdom of God? As countries on the earth have their immigration officers who monitor their boundaries and control who or /and what comes into the countries, so it is with God's kingdom.

This reminds me of a lady's experience in 2013 in Nigeria's immigration office. I was in that office to obtain my International Passport, it is the same reason this gal was there. When it was time to enter the room where the photograph of each person will be taken a young sister came out to instruct everyone present to look fit and proper for the next stage.

There was this young lady who was "well-dressed" by her own standard. She painted her face with different cosmetics. She decorated herself to a fault. She hung jewelleries on herself heavily. She demonstrated her wealth and being "fashionable" in every sense of the word.

Now, when the young immigration officer sighted the "wealthy" and "fashionable" lady. She asked for her reason for being in that office and she disclosed that she wanted to obtain a copy of an international passport. Then the officer assured her that she cannot be issued one with her way of dressing. She instructed her that if she is interested in obtaining the passport, she should get rid of every hangings on and wash away all her facial paintings.

She obliged.

It was then she was allowed to enter into the photo room to have a snapshot for her passport. I expected the lady to insist on having those things in places and must be allowed in to have the photograph.

But No,

Now, if mankind can have a standard for issuing an International Passport, should the Lord do less? Should man insist on having his ways and the Lord to dance to his tune? God forbids! A serious kingdom minded fellow must please his Lord to enter His kingdom. He has His own permanent unchanging standard that will not be lowered for anybody, but everyone must strive to meet His standard. He told Abram who later became Abraham thus,
"I am Almighty God ; walk before Me and be blameless" Gen 17:1.

The Lord also instructed the Hebrews who were Abraham's descendants :
"For I am the Lord who brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy." Leviticus 11:45.

Do you claim that the above are from the old Testament? Apostle Peter tells the first and the current church of Christ in his epistles thus,
" but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written," Be holy, for I am holy " I Peter 1:15-16.

My beloved reader, on the way to the kingdom of God are many Angels who are Kingdom Immigration Officers. They will screen every would - be Kingdom candidates to see if he is fit and proper to enter the kingdom it is not for every Dick, Jack and Harry. It is meant for only those who were fully prepared for the kingdom.

Let me reiterate it here that it is not a religious matter but pleasing the Lord, our God, only. You may be religious but be working and walking contrary to the owner of the kingdom of Heaven. This will not be in your favor at all. Therefore, be reconciled to your Maker through the Lord Jesus Christ who has been anointed by the Father to govern the kingdom.

He has been given all authority in heaven and on earth ; and this cannot be challenged by any principality, power or authority anywhere. You either fulfil His commandments and enter into His rest or fail to do this and miss the kingdom of rest which He has gone to prepare for His saints. Are you one of them?

Kingdom Immigration Officers are on the way to Christ Kingdom, be fully prepared to meet them. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
