Ten Commandments of God Diminish Freedom. WHY HAVE LAWS?

Laws diminish freedom. Why do we have laws?

Children, young rebels and criminals hate laws. They don’t’ like it for obvious reasons.

But imagine a society without laws. Without law and law enforcement you couldn’t cross the street in safety. No attractive woman could step out of the house, alone. All your possessions and your life would be in constant jeopardy.

Observe our traffic laws. They are generally just and absolutely essential. Could you drive anywhere without them?

You can see that freedom can be deadly or disastrous, unless guided by just and benevolent laws.

Man must live by law.

All of God’s laws, all of them, are only for the safety and happiness of man and mankind. There is not a single law for the benefit of God. All of God’s laws are for the benefit of man and the society of man.

“Walk by FAITH, not by sight”, even if you don’t understand, just walk (obey God’s Commandments) by faith.

FIRST COMMANDMENT

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Exo 20:’3

I see it as “You shall have no other gods in my sight”, that means no other god or gods, period. This very topic is the central area of man’s world view and ideology. It is always a primary target for Satan and his Devils. To choose anything OTHER than our God for your supreme authority, is to loose God completely. You know what would follow then?

The Commandments 1 and 2 completely explain and overlap each other, so no fatal error is possible, unless man himself desires this error.

SECOND COMMANDMENT

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

5Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

6And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Exo 20:4-6

You can see the diabolical intelligence of Satan and of the Roman Religions in introducing (inserting) the worship of Semiramis (Egyptian Cow, Athena/Diana, Catholic Mary) into emerging Christianity. To this very day, Catholics don’t know or avoid like a plague, the Second Commandment.

THIRD COMMANDMENT

⁷Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Exo 20:7

If you do not honor the name of the Lord, then He, obviously, is not your Lord. You are on your own, Kiddo.

FOURTH COMMANDMENT

“But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:”

Exo 20:8-11

In this study this Commandment is not quoted in its entirety. The purpose of this Commandment is to keep (1) periodic contact with God and to (2) PROTECT the PEOPLE FROM BITTER EXPLOITATION. Custom had made the Commandment too strict and counterproductive. Christ Jesus restated the Commandment.

It should be apparently lawful to do good, to heal and do what is necessary, even on Sabbath.

Col 2:16 appears to negate much of Sabbath and diet laws:
“Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:”

 FIFTH COMMANDMENT

Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Exo 20:12

This is the only commandment with a promise.

 SIXTH COMMANDMENT

Thau shall not kill

Better pray about that one. Notice that numerically it is the 13^th paragraph – meaning abomination. There are some very legitimate exceptions. Some Biblical laws require (DEMAND) capital punishment (Death Penalty, killing). Israel’s legitimate wars against Nephilim and enemies were won by the will of God – the enemies are said to have committed these Capital Crimes and more, among themselves.

A third exception may be self-defense.

But beware. Politicians lie about their artificially promoted, contemporary wars.  These may be unjust wars or even wars to in-debt America and hurt our nation.

The owners of American National Debt (USA DEBTCLOCK     http://www.usdebtclock.org/index.html) do not make wars to defend America. They make wars to build GLOBALISM, an enormous global PRISON for mankind, and eventually a final GRAVE for most of humanity.

SEVENTH COMMANDMENT

Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Exo 20:14

Some may say that adultery includes fornication. Others, say that adultery applies only to existing and functioning, real marriages. The seriousness of the latter is very great – it endangers the whole marriage, family and children.

It is significant, that the commandment does not mention fornication, only says adultery. Fornication is mentioned in many other issues, but not here.

 THE EIGHT COMMANDMENT

Thou shalt not steal.

Everybody seems to understand that one. Hm?

NINTH COMMANDMENT

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

Exo 20:16

This obviously means more than just plain lying. Clearly, it describes a lying witness (in court or out), lying and deliberately giving false testimony against a neighbor. Far more serious.

TENTH COMMANDMENT

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

Exo 20:17

It contains also a reinforcement of 7th commandment herein.

God established private property for the protection of His people. Why should others control your livelihood? Then God established laws to protect your private property and family.

When Satan gains power (Consider Communism), the first thing they do is to impoverish the people and destroy existing marriages.

FINDING GOD

Dear Reader, thousands of turbulent years have passed since God, Himself, wrote these laws. He Wrote them not for His benefit, but for ours. Exceedingly most wonderful is our wonderful God. To those who want Him, He is our greatest joy.

With infinite love God gave us a Savior, to pay our penalty and a Bible, a guide and light on our path! The Bible is a love story; written with blood, upon a wooden cross; the story of God's love for you.

Men are not lost because they are sinners; THEY ARE LOST BECAUSE THEY HAVE REJECTED THE JESUS OF THE BIBLE, who died for them. If you are not yet completely committed to Christ, know that our Savior needs to be invited. He is a gentleman. He knocks on the door of your heart (innermost being). Everybody can have the other one (Satan) automatically; that one never knocks. He pushes his way.

Any CONCEIVABLE sacrifice is worthwhile to find the BIBLICAL Christ Jesus and to belong to Him. If you want Him, pray now with me, "DEAREST LORD JESUS, FORGIVE ME MY SINS. I REJECT ALL NON-BIBLICAL RELIGION. COME INTO MY LIFE AND BE THE RULER OF MY LIFE. HELP ME TO LOVE YOU MORE EVERY DAY AND TO OBEY YOU WITH ALL MY STRENGTH AND TO READ YOUR BIBLE DAILY, EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE."

If you do this, and mean it, with an open heart, this prayer will never fail. It will become the greatest thing you will ever have, and it will last forever. Even in this life it will be the greatest happiness you'll know, and a light upon your path. Conversely, to FAIL in this, it will be the GREATEST DISASTER you will ever have, both here and hereafter.

Something most especial is waiting for those who seek the immense goodness of our Lord. God Himself said, that "The ear has not heard, and no eye has ever seen, neither can man even imagine the HAPPINESS which God prepared for those who love him" (1 Cor. 2:9, paraphrased, if you please).
