DO YOU MOVE THE HEART OF GOD?

There is an unnamed widow in the Bible who impressed Jesus above all others!

The Bible doesn't tell us if she had any friends, or any sister and brothers.

She took her place in the line that day where offerings to God were being made!

Many tossed in large amounts of money as they put on their public "CHARADE"!

Many cast in of their "ABUNDANCE" publicly in a way that everyone could view!

The goal of many was to "IMPRESS" others: Hey, look at me! "I just gave "MORE" than you!

Jesus wasn't impressed by those pride filled folks, "PRAISE THE LORD"!

Though they gave large offerings, they gave what they could "EASILY" afford!

Then came the poor widow who gave "ALL SHE HAD" trusting God for her next meal!

As she cast in her two mites the heart of Jesus was moved because the "CHARITY" in her heart was revealed!

How about you today on that path you trod?

Do you ever deny yourself of things you need so that you might do the "WILL OF GOD"?

Think about all the "WORLDLY THINGS" we buy that we really "DO NOT NEED"!

To "SATISFY OUR CARNAL DESIRES" and our Unholy "GREEDS"!

Many of us Christians keep ourselves in such debt that we even stop paying our "TITHES"!

We ease our guilty conscience by telling ourselves that we are still GOOD TO GO which is a pack of lies!

God does not give us wealth to squander it all foolishly on ourselves and on our "GREED"!

He expects Christians to focus on the down and out and try to meet their many needs!

When was the last time you moved the heart of God with an act like that the poor widow woman displayed?

Maybe it's time for many of us to look into the mirror and ask ourselves:

"Is God "PLEASED" with the way I behave?"

Charade: an absurd pretense intended to create a pleasant or respectable appearance.
