How to Help Your Heart Heal

Why does my heart hurt? I've asked myself many times through the years. Really, though, I was asking that of God. 

Gradually, as I learned more through the years of what the Word of God says, and continued to seek out true Bible-based teaching in churches and online and in books, I realized that my heart hurt because there was so much junk in it--bitterness, unforgiveness, strife, jealousy, fear, doubt, unbelief, sin-consciousness...........YUCK!

There are many verses in the Word dealing with all of these. Yes, as Believers in Christ, we know we are not supposed to feel these ways, and we certainly know we're not supposed to talk "evil," which is what these wrong roots influence us to do--because the way we see and think about things are twisted (which is what "perverted" means. It's not just about wrong physical relations.).

Here's the bottom line: God created you, loves you, and wants to heal and deliver and free and restore you--but you have to let Him. He is a Gentleman, Who will never force you to do anything--including go to Heaven. That is your choice.  

However, when you choose to ask the LORD to help you be free, He will. Ask Him also to help you remember, through the cleansing and restoring process (which can be REALLLLLLY YUCKY, but SO WORTH IT!), that He loves you--no matter what! He knows ALL about every detail of your life, all the days of your life. He sees it all--and He loves you anyway! 

Jesus Christ did not come to judge and condemn you, but to save and deliver and heal and free you (John 3:15-17), and give you abundant life (John 10:10)! Call out to Him today, and He will answer. It may not be the way you think it should be, but HE WILL ANSWER!!

Call on Him now. Ask Him to heal your heart. He wants to. He is just waiting for you to ask Him. He loves to help! That's why He came to earth and died and rose again! 

What are you waiting for? HE IS GOOD and ALL GOOD, or we'd all have been dead and in hell!
