THE CRUCIFIXION OF CHRIST
 
The "GREATEST EVENT" to ever take place on this "EARTH"!
Was when Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born of a "VIRGIN BIRTH"!
 
Sin had "PASSED" upon us all!
When Adam and Eve took their Great Fall!
 
There was only "ONE WAY" to bring us back into fellowship with GOD again!
Someone "WORTHY ENOUGH" had to "DIE" in our place to "PAY FOR OUR SIN'S!
 
So, Jesus laid down His Royal Robes and His Royal Crown and came down!
He left all of His "GREAT GLORY" in Heaven so you and I could be made "SPIRITUALLY" sound!
 
He healed the sick, cleansed the lepers, and he "RAISED THE DEAD"!
He took five loaves and two fishes and blessed them so that 5,000 folks could be fed!
 
He chose 12 Apostles to follow him and gave them "POWER" to heal anything amiss!
And one of the 12 that he loved betrayed him to his enemies with a traitor's "KISS"!
 
Pilate had him tied to a "WHIPPING POST" and commanded Roman Soldiers to beat him to the point of death!
As the sting of each lash "STRUCK" his body he trembled as the pain "TOOK HIS BREATH"!
 
They nailed his innocent hands and feet to an "OLD RUGGED CROSS" that stood between two thieves!
As God the Father and the Angels in Heaven watched it all, they "WEPT" and "GRIEVED"!
 
As Jesus was dying he cried out "FATHER" please forgive them, for they know not what they do"!
And then he cried out: "IT IS FINISHED" as he died on that Old CROSS for me and for you!
 
What will "YOU" do with Jesus Christ who died on that Cross to make you "NEW"?
 
"HEAVEN or HELL", it's all up to me and you!

So what makes us think we can escape if we ignore this great salvation that was first announced by the Lord Jesus himself and then delivered to us by those who heard him speak.
 
Matthew 10:28
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
