Open Your Mouth Amazingly Wide Enough And God Will Fill It

Is your mouth open and filled by God? This is a simple instruction from God which many Christians are not obeying. Yet, it's an avenue by which God shows Himself mighty and faithful on our behalf. So, in this article, you're encouraged to open your mouth wide and God will fill it.

I am the LORD your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. "But My people would not heed My voice, And Israel would have none of Me. So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart, to walk in their own counsels. "Oh, that My people would listen to Me, That Israel would walk in My ways! I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn My hand against their adversaries. The haters of the LORD would pretend submission to Him, but their fate would endure forever. He would have fed them also with the finest of wheat; and with honey from the rock I would have satisfied you - Psalms 81:10-16 (NKJV, emphasis mine).

Introduction

Your victory in life lies in the use of your mouth. It is a tool that God uses to bless us when we use it as He specified. However, many people don't enjoy the use of their mouth because they use it as they like, following their own counsel. But when you open your mouth wide God will fill it and you will be full.

What Does It Mean To Open Mouth Wide And God Will Fill It?

This is to boldly declare God's word at all times and to ask whatever you want from God. Certainly, to close your mouth is to shut down your destiny. And God is more than able to do whatever you say in faith. So, don't say or ask for small things, rather boldly ask for big things in faith? Therefore, opening your mouth wide to call forth your desires in Christ will attract answers from the Lord.

Why should you open your mouth wide?

1. It is God Almighty who said you should open your mouth wide. Surely, He's not a small god; rather He's the one who brought the Israelites out of Egypt with outstretched hands. And He wrought great signs and wonders in Egypt that couldn't be replicated.

 

2. For Him to subdue your enemies and turn His hands against your adversaries. God is waiting for you to declare His word against your enemies for Him to carry it out. But, when you keep quiet, you give Him no opportunity to fill it and use it against your enemies.

 

 

3. So, He can provide you with the best food daily and supply you with the sweet things of life. Surely, you will eat the fruit of your lips. Truly, it's not enough to desire food and the good things of life, you must call them forth. For example, you are to declare always that God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). This, when declared in faith will always cause you to have your needs met.

 

Consequences of disobeying this instruction

God will leave you to carry out your own ideas or counsel, which will open you up for attacks from the enemy. This attack will come because you will not have the backing of the Almighty. And the enemy will have no one to stop or fight him from oppressing you.

Conclusion

Christians are suffering because they have chosen to disobey God and follow their own counsels. Truly, it's great wisdom to open your mouth wide, (even if you're mocked for it) and declare what you want according to God's word. For, then you commit God to act on your behalf. So, from today, ensure that you don't keep quiet anymore. Rather, open your mouth as wide as you can and have your desires met. Again, I say, open your mouth wide and God will fill it.
