The Law of Life Has Freed Us!

As an internationally-esteemed apostle, Tracy Harris, stated in the Bible school he was teaching, “Spiritual laws govern the universe.”

We redeemed beings have authority in Christ in both worlds—dual existence, according to the apostle—and the knowledge and proper application of spiritual laws is vital for victory. As he says, “the correct execution of the spiritual laws will trump the working of the natural laws, every time.”

According to what I understood from him, there are many spiritual laws, which include (but are not limited to): The Law of Confession: The Law of Agreement: The Law of Faith; The Law of Sowing and Reaping/Seedtime and Harvest; The Law of Liberty; the Law of Righteousness: The Law of Attention; The Law of Reception; The Law of Meditation; The Law of the Kinsman-Redeemer; The Law of Redemptive Return/Restoration; The Royal Law of Love; and The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:2).

It is The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus which is the focus of this paper.

A few decades ago, when I was in my darkest place--kicked in the gut and barely breathing--The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus freed me from the law of sin and death—from death in my body; my soul; my finances; my marriage; my family; my destiny; my everything!

Long before I knew what I was doing, and by the LORD’s help, I was activating spiritual laws that trumped natural laws and the devil’s work. Hallelujah!

In those darkest hours when I couldn’t even think straight, my spirit took over by God’s grace, and I got in a quiet place away from everyone I knew; just me and God, paper, pen, and my Bible. There, I copied Scriptures, innumerable Scriptures, for hours, then read them aloud to myself.

My voice was not strong, but The Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus was speaking through me, strengthening me; giving me new life (John 6:63)!

When we speak the Word of God, we are exercising our authority in Christ Jesus. We are exercising The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus (John 1:1-4; 2 Cor. 4:13)!

So, by His Grace, The Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus, my merciful, faithful Savior, I was operating many spiritual laws at once, even without consciously understanding the glorious repercussions of my actions. I am still doing that, and now I understand more how to utilize spiritual laws, to exercise my authority and enjoy and operate in greater and greater freedom—and all the more as The Day approaches!

Hallelujah! Great is the faithfulness of our Father God!

I didn’t know much all those years ago, but I knew that Jesus, the Word, is The Spirit of Life, and that He was the only One Who could and would help me to survive and then, later, to thrive—and fulfill the reason I am on the planet!

Surely this is what King David knew (Psalm 23): The Spirit of Christ Jesus--His Word--is Life (John 1:1, 6:63, 10:10)! His Word is Freedom (John 8:31-21)! His Word is our reason for being (Acts 17:28)!

As Apostle Tracy has so excellently stated, “The life of a true disciple is a lifestyle of continuing freedom!”

As Galatians 5:3 says, praise the LORD, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”

“For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death (Rom. 8:2).”

This law is the law of our new being—of us as new creations in Christ! It is the Law of our freedom from the curse! Through the blood of Jesus shed on the cross, and the word of our testimony—there is for us true Believers no more curse!

Hallelujah!

Jesus has redeemed us from the curse, by becoming a curse for us on the cross (Gal. 3:13-14), and giving us The Blessing! The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus is infused in the Name of Jesus! Jesus and His Name are One.

“Whatever that Name can do, I can do!” exclaimed Apostle Tracy Harris in Bible school during the end of the second quarter. “I am one with The Name!”

It is not the Name of Jesus itself; there are other men named Jesus listed in the Bible. It is the Spirit upon the Name and the Person of Jesus Christ Himself that makes the difference!

So, we could say, “The Law of the Spirit of Life—the Name of Jesus--has freed us from the law of sin and death.” Hallelujah! No more curse!

As Believers in the LORD Jesus Christ, we have the legal right to use that Name—the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus—to change things in this earth, and command and demand that they line up with the Word of God. Hallelujah!

The Name is the Law. The Law is the Name. JESUS—the Living Word of God, the Spirit of Life—is the Law!

We have victory over the law of sin and death, because the Law is fulfilled in the Spirit of Life which is Jesus the Christ! Hallelujah!

“For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death” (Rom. 8:2)—forever!
