Yes, ‘I Can Only Imagine.’ (MercyMe)

Many of us have been in the presence of entertainers, sports heroes, authors, popular evangelists or politicians.

Some shake celebrities’ hands or get their autographs.

My husband has been a news director at radio and television station. It gave him the opportunity to interview influential politicians. Two later served as presidents of the United States of America. I’d say his being in their presence was impressive.

Nothing can compare to being in the presence of the LORD.

“The Lord is the portion of my inheritance and my cup;
You support my lot.
The measuring lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
Indeed, my inheritance is beautiful to me.

I will bless the Lord who has advised me;
Indeed, my mind instructs me in the night. 
I have set the Lord continually before me;
Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices (Psalm 16:5-9a NASB).”
