Jesus Will Help You Escape Death!

Riches provide no security in any day of wrath and judgment, but righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God) delivers from death.--Proverbs 11:4, AMPC

God is Life--abundant Life, or "Zoe," as Jesus talks about in John 10:10.

God is health and healing and goodness and light and freedom and peace and love and joy, and everything good. Hallelujah!

It is the enemy who sends death, but the blood of Jesus is continuously working to help us escape death in every arena, first by His mercy and grace, and then by our understanding and adherence to spiritual laws.

He tells us in Deuteronomy 30:19, to "choose life": I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live.

This means choosing to follow God, by reading and studying and following His Word. His Word is His will, forever. Hallelujah!

Sometimes, there are forms of death in our lives that have nothing to do with us, but that are the result of sins of our parents and their ancestors.

The first thing to do is to repent; ask the LORD to forgive you, and your family line, for all your sins, transgressions, and iniquities--for any way you and they have not followed Him. Then, tell Him by faith that you believe He forgives you, as He says in His Word in I John 5:14-15 (AMPC): And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.

So He hears us when we pray in His will, and His Word is always His will. Hallejujah!

The next thing you can do is to tell the LORD that You thank and praise and worship Him, because He is Life!

For You have delivered my life from death, yes, and my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life and of the living.--Psalm 56:13

In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.--John 1:4, AMPC

[It is that purpose and grace] which He now has made known and has fully disclosed and made real [to us] through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, Who annulled death and made it of no effect and brought life and immortality (immunity from eternal death) to light through the Gospel.--2 Timothy 1:10, AMPC

Jesus Christ the King and LORD of all can truly deliver us from all forms of death--spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially, financially, and every other way--when we choose to follow Him.

So today, if you have received Christ Jesus as your Savior and LORD, you can tell death to get out of your life in the Name of Jesus! Then you can welcome the Spirit of Life, Who is the Spirit of God--the Spirit of Jesus--to have His way in your time on this earth; to bring the fullness of the Zoe He died to give you!
