Find Healing In Jesus

When our Lord Jesus was on earth,
He knew pain in a very real way;
But He responded still, with such love;
And He didn’t run, or push it away.

Our foe wants us to run to people,
Instead of turning for help to our King!
He would have us broken, and bitter;
Not resting beneath our Father’s wing.

People who don’t know our Lord Jesus,
And the healing and grace He alone, gives,
Say to run away from those who hurt;
To raise high your defense, so you can live.

But oh, those who know God’s sweet presence,
And the healing touch, of His loving hand,
They quickly run to their Lord Jesus;
And they find He does fully understand.

His grace bears them up, and brings healing;
He gives them strength to forgive, and still love!
His beauty shines more brightly through them,
As they reflect their dear Father above.

God heals their deepest of heartaches,
As they commit everything to Him.
His word of truth frees, and brings comfort;
And life’s pain and heartache, seem to grow dim.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Oh LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
