*2023: Beginning of the Day of His POWER in the Beauties of HOLINESS*

*Introduction*

Psalm 110:3 KJV
*Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy POWER, in the beauties of HOLINESS from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.*

I welcome you all to the year 2023 in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I want to share with you a bit of God's mind about this strategic year.

Yes, 2023 is the beginning of the day of His POWER in the beauties of HOLINESS.

And, interestingly, Psalm 110:3 KJV above shows that there is a strong connection between power and holiness.

It says: *Thy people shall be willing in the DAY of thy POWER, in the BEAUTIES of HOLINESS from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth* (Psalm 110:3 KJV.)

A deeper study of this verse from other Bible versions and from the Hebrew dictionary reveals that it's simply saying: *"Your people will volunteer themselves or offer themselves willingly in the day of your POWER, in the splendour of HOLINESS..."*

You see, those who walk in great power without walking in great holiness will end up being destroyed as a result of that great power and its influence.

Those, however, who move in great power coupled with great holiness will be preserved standing the test of time — they and their impact will last!

A careful study of God's generals in the Bible and outside the Bible proves these points.

Why did Paul last while Samson did not last?

Why did Oral Roberts and Reinhard Bonnke last while Jack Coe and Stephen Jeoffrey did not last in ministry as God intended?

Romans 1:4 KJV
And declared to be the Son of God with POWER, according to the spirit of HOLINESS, by the resurrection from the dead:

You see, as Jesus struck a balance between power and holiness, so should every follower of His that wants to last as He did do!

Yes, Jesus was declared to be the Son of God with POWER, according to the spirit of HOLINESS... !

Hebrews 1:9 AMPC
*You have LOVED RIGHTEOUSNESS [You have delighted in INTEGRITY, VIRTUE, and UPRIGHTNESS in PURPOSE, THOUGHT, and ACTION] and You have HATED LAWLESSNESS (INJUSTICE and INIQUITY). Therefore God, [even] your God (Godhead), has ANOINTED You with the oil of exultant joy and gladness above and beyond Your companions. [Ps. 45:6,7.]*

You see, undoubtedly, Jesus became anointed greatly above His companions because He loved righteousness [He delighted in integrity, virtue, and uprightness in purpose, thought, and action] and He hated lawlessness (injustice and iniquity).

Actually, the Lord has been dealing with my wife and me about power demonstration recently.

Then coming across some prophecies by some servants of God was a huge confirmation.

Below are the prophetic messages for 2023 by some few servants of God:

*(1) MARGARET MAYAKI*

This respected UK-based Nigerian prophetess said concerning 2023:

*“It is a year of divine visitation... New mantles will be released, old generals will be called home... GOD IS GOING TO RELEASE POWER GIFTS TO THOSE WHO WILL NOT COMMERCIALISE THE GIFTS. We need to get ready for that,” she said.*

She continued: *...The Lord will chastise those who are lukewarm, POWER AND FRESH OIL WILL BE RELEASED TO THE CHURCH. New prophetess and young prophets will be released. It is a year of joy and peace for those who seek the Lord diligently...*

(Note: the power gifts are: gift of faith, gift of working of miracles and gifts of healings.

1 Corinthians 12:9-10 KJV
To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; [10] To another the working of miracles; ...)

*(2) CHUKS PIERCE*

This American prophet who accurately prophesied the coming of corona virus (COVID-19) ever before it showed up, has this to say about 2023:

*Demonstrations of Power*

*"We are on the eve of the GREATEST DEMONSTRATION OF GOD'S POWER IN THE EARTH! This is what has been called the "Saints Movement" where ORDINARY CHRISTIANS DO EXTRAORDINARY THINGS. This POWER DEMONSTRATION will capture the news and make headlines. Persecutions will arise against these moves of God and the leaders. Don't be surprised by this, but keep persevering in the middle of turmoil. Satan is going to try and bring divisions and separate close friends, but remain steady in the work of the Lord."*

*"Seemingly small moves of God will grow big, like what happened in the Welsh revival under Evan Roberts. We will be surprised and delighted at the hot spots of revival here and there. There will be a renewed interest in the history of revival as a new generation cries out for God to "do it again!" "*

*"INSTANTANEOUS HEALINGS will take place and will come like the lightning of God. People will be delivered from mental illnesses, addictions to drugs and pornography and all manner of terminal illnesses."*

*"The POWER OF GOD will come in waves of glory. It will be like a tsunami wave of revival."*

*(3) TOMI ARAYOMI*

This young Nigerian prophetic apostle accurately prophesied the Russia-Ukraine War before it happened!

He just relocated from UK to Nigeria in 2022.

He prophesied that 2023 will be *"THE ERA OF THE MIRACULOUS AND STRANGE THINGS."*

(I believe in his powerful ministry, but recently I have withdrawn from following him. I still love him.)

Acts 4:29-31,33 KJV
And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, [30] By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. [31] And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. [33] And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

Isaiah 28:21 KJV
*For the Lord shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his STRANGE [awesome] WORK; and bring to pass his act, his STRANGE [unusual] ACT.*

Luke 5:24-26 KJV
*But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house. [25] And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. [26] And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.*

(His prophecy precipitates a dire need for the Church to study and understand faith very well and to pray earnestly that God demonstrates His power through us and grants us the boldness to demonstrate His power as the need arises.)

*(4) GBENGA OLOWOSOYO*

This Oyo-State based messenger in Nigeria has been prophesying over Nigeria for awhile.

His prophecies are heavy or weighty.

In his 23rd November, 2022 prophetic message tagged "6th Prophecy to Nigeria," he prophesied that in 2023 there will be *"REVIVAL OF POWER AND HOLINESS"* from Nigeria to the world!

That's after divine judgment had swept through the Nigerian Church and nation at large.

*(5) TOSIN OLUMIDE*

My wife, a Nigeria-based prophetess said this about 2023: *"This is the year of holiness. Psalm 39:1. It's a year that God will open ancient doors. It's the year He will enthrone His Davids into different positions.*

*"It's the year of passing batons. It's the year of anointing. The year of passover. The year that people move to their next level.*

The Lord said, *"Latter rain is falling. There hasn't been any reason to send the bigger rain before Jesus showed up (first coming); but, now I deem it fit, saith the Lord to send bigger rain. The latter rain is bigger, stronger, more wonderful than the first rain...*

*"Put in your very best that you miss not the latter rain.*

*"O heaven!*

I heard: *"Spiritual moments."*

*"Heaven cries (longs) to see it drop. Now, it has come.*

*"Raise the alarm that I am the Latter Rain and the Former Rain, saith the Lord (Jesus).*

*(James 5:7 KJV
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the EARLY and LATTER rain.)*

*Conclusion*

Some Churches have overemphasized financial and material prosperity as well as miracles and healings deemphasizing inward and outward holiness.

There must be a drastic change in our emphases.

The body of Christ must return to emphasizing REPENTANCE as a doctrine and as a lifestyle (see Hebrew 6:1-3).

Repentance must be followed by restitution. This coupled with continuous and effective prayer will initiate and sustain genuine revival.

Very importantly, the Greek word translated *"repentance"* means *"a change of mind resulting in change of lifestyle or behaviour."*

We must go the extra mile to preach and teach strongly on Christian character, morals, integrity, ethics and etiquette as contained in the Scriptures.

You see, the high level of moral decadence in the Church world, even among leaders in the Body of Christ is strangely alarming!

We have lost Biblical core values. We have left virtues to celebrate vices.

Cohabiting, polygamy, unlawful sex, abortion, lies, greed, lust, gossip, slander, envy, pride, stealing, murder, bearing false witness, rebellion, betrayal, anger, witchcraft, ungodly jokes, alcohol drinking, ungodly businesses, electoral malpractices, examination malpractices, ungodly mode of dress, and such evils are seen and practised as norm today among God's own people and our leaders.

We must have a change of mind resulting in change of lifestyle or behaviour!

Reposition yourself. Disconnect from wrong people, practices and places.

Draw nearer to God. Seek Him wholeheartedly. Go deeper into the study of the Bible and prayer with fasting as led.

Don't miss the transition! Don't miss your moments in God! Don't miss the revival!

Hosea 10:12 KJV
*Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.*

*Prayer Points*

Forgive anyone who has offended, hurt, wronged, betrayed, insulted or abused you. Then say the following prayer points:

*(1). I repent of my sins of commission and of omission receiving God's forgiveness. I receive forgiveness for the Body of Christ for unrepentance, worldliness and unholiness.*

*(2). Merciful Father in Jesus' name, give me and the entire Body of Christ a revelation knowledge and understanding of repentance and holiness needed for relevance in God's plan on earth and in heaven.*

*(3). According to 1 Timothy 1:18 KJV: "This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;" I pray for the positive manifestation and fulfillment of these 2023 prophecies in my life, nation and in the world at large in Jesus' name.*

*(4). O Lord of harvest and revival, send down revival of holiness and power into our lives and nations again in Jesus' name.*

*(5). I pray for a mighty operation and activation of the power gifts — special faith, working of miracles and gifts of healings — in my life and in the body of Christ as the Holy Spirit desires in Jesus' name.*

*(6). Grant us boldness to preach and teach Your word as You stretch forth Your mighty Hands to confirm it with miracles, signs and wonders following in Jesus' name.*

*(7) O God of justice and judgment, may your judgment flow like a river through the Body of Christ to remove corruption, wickedness, oppression and unholiness from us, as well as impart your fear unto us in Jesus' name.*

(8) *We ask you Lord to let the latter rain keep falling upon us all as you have made bright clouds, giving us showers of rain, to everyone in Jesus' name* (see Zechariah 10:1 KJV).

(9) Pray in an unknown tongue daily for an hour or more.
