Who's Got Your Back?

My covenant will I not break or profane, nor alter the thing that is gone out of My lips.--Psalm 89:34, AMPC

There are those who are loyal to you, no matter what; who keep on loving and praying for you, even if your fellowship is broken for a while. This is true when you are under the covering--which every true Believer in Christ Jesus needs to be--of a local, Bible-believing church who makes Jesus Christ LORD. In some cases, there may not be a physical local church to attend, so faithfully attending services online is the next best option. Praise the LORD, God the Holy Spirit is unlimited, and can reach across all space and time to touch and change us to be more like Him!

So, Who's got your back?

Yes, Bible-believing saints (once we receive Christ Jesus as our Savior and LORD, we are no longer called "sinners" (although we still sin), but "saints".

So now arise, O Lord God, and come into Your resting place, You and the ark of Your strength and power. Let Your priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation, and let Your saints (Your zealous ones) rejoice in good and in Your goodness.--2 Chronicles 6:41, AMPC

For the Lord delights in justice and forsakes not His saints; they are preserved forever, but the offspring of the wicked [in time] shall be cut off.--Psalm 37:28, AMPC

Only the true God, the living Christ, Jesus the Son, the Lamb, Who sacrificed Himself on the cross and spilled every drop of His pure, life-redeeming blood over 2,000 years ago to pay the sin debt for all mankind, and it is our belief (faith) in what Jesus' blood did for us that makes us saints to the holy God!

HALLELUJAH!

I will listen [with expectancy] to what God the Lord will say, for He will speak peace to His people, to His saints (those who are in right standing with Him)—but let them not turn again to [self-confident] folly.--Psalm 85:8, AMPC

It is a deception, a dangerous trick, of the enemy, when we think we are "just fine" without going to church, or reading the Bible, or worshipping, or praying (talking to God; being real with Him, Who knows everything about us anyway--even every thought and word before we think and speak them!). That is not right. We are NOT all right when we separate ourselves from God and His people!

If we separate ourselves from the covering of God; first, receiving Christ Jesus as our Savior, LORD, and Best Friend Forever (Who truly does always have our backs!), then we are full of pride, and opening the door to the enemy, who will destroy us as quickly as he can, subtly at first, then more and more blatantly!

After that is being an active part of a godly Family, the Family of God; other saints, other Believers in Christ Jesus. None of us are perfect, but when we have Love and Wisdom and Purity and Strength and Grace and Joy and Success--and much more--in us, because all of these things are part of Christ in us, the Hope of Glory, when we are born again! Glory!

Just like we can, once we are born again by believing in what Jesus' blood did on the cross to cleanse us from all sin and make us acceptable and beloved by God, pray to God our Father to help others, then others can pray for Him to help us. Hallelujah!

Even those who don't know God understand the power of working together with others!

While you also cooperate by your prayers for us [helping and laboring together with us]. Thus [the lips of] many persons [turned toward God will eventually] give thanks on our behalf for the grace (the blessing of deliverance) granted us at the request of the many who have prayed.--2 Corinthians 1:11, AMPC

The covering of protection found by believing in Christ Jesus as Savior and LORD, then by partnering with other saints at church and in other ministries that promote the Kingdom of the true God, Jesus Christ, is where the true safety and amazing, satisfying, prosperous life is!

¹⁰The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).--John 10:10, AMPC

God loved us so much that, even when we were His enemies, Christ died for us!

⁶While we were yet in weakness [powerless to help ourselves], at the fitting time Christ died for (in behalf of) the ungodly.—Romans 5:6, AMPC

He wanted us to be able to come back to Him, and have the excellent life He'd planned for every person since He created the Garden of Eden and put Adam and Eve into it! What Grace and Mercy, Faithfulness, and Forgiveness!

God is for us, and if He is for us, no one against us can truly succeed (Romans 8:31)

O you who love the Lord, hate evil; He preserves the lives of His saints (the children of God), He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.--Psalm 97:10, AMPC

He is coming back very soon as the victorious Lion of Judah, Jesus the King of kings and LORD of lords!

Behold, I am coming soon, and I shall bring My wages and rewards with Me, to repay and render to each one just what his own actions and his own work merit.--Revelation 22:12, AMPC

When everyone else--even your best friend on earth, or spouse, family, or anyone else you thought you could always depend on--walks away, Jesus is there. He will never leave you nor abandon you!

Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]--Hebrews 13:5, AMPC

HALLELUJAH!

When we receive what Christ did for us on the cross, we become right with God--forever--as long as we stay close to Him. Hallelujah!

5 Therefore, since we are justified (acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God) through faith, let us [grasp the fact that we] have [the peace of reconciliation to hold and to enjoy] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). ²Through Him also we have [our] access (entrance, introduction) by faith into this grace (state of God’s favor) in which we [firmly and safely] stand. And let us rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God. Moreover [let us also be full of joy now!] let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance.--Romans 5:1-3, AMPC

God is the Covenant God. Once He says something, He means it, and always keeps His Word. Jesus Christ the LORD is the Living Word (John 1:1)! Hallelujah! He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He cannot life, and would not if He could! Hallelujah!

⁷³That covenant He sealed by oath to our forefather Abraham:⁷⁴To grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our foes, might serve Him fearlessly⁷⁵In holiness (divine consecration) and righteousness [in accordance with the everlasting principles of right] within His presence all the days of our lives.--Luke 1:73-75, AMPC

Who's got your back?

Jesus, that's Who--if and when you trust Him.

This world is crazy, and you need Christ! Trust Him today!

Once you receive Christ Jesus as your Savior and LORD and Best Friend Forever (Who truly WILL have your back!!), then ask Him which Bible-believing church to get involved with. No church has perfect people, but true Believers in Christ will "have your back" by praying to the living Covenant God, Yahweh, to help you in amazing ways, for it is the Spirit of God in us true Believers that prompts us to pray to God the Father for help for ourselves and others!

Hallelujah!

With Jesus Christ, His Father God (Yahweh), and the Holy Spirit (Whom is the Spirit of Jesus Who comes into our hearts when we truly CHOOSE to believe in Him and ask Him to forgive us and be our Savior and LORD!), for us, none can be against us!

³¹What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]--Romans 8:31, AMPC

It's always a win-win with Him--Jesus the LORD--Who has truly got our backs!

But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory [making us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ.--I Corinthians 15:57, AMPC

And when the Gentiles heard this, they rejoiced and glorified (praised and gave thanks for) the Word of God; and as many as were destined (appointed and ordained) to eternal life believed (adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Jesus as the Christ and their Savior).--Acts 13:48, AMPC
