The REAL You is Never Afraid!

11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. 13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?--Hebrews 9:11-14, KJV

The real us--the spirit part of us; the eternal part, one with Christ Jesus, the eternal, fearless One--is never afraid.

Fear comes from the enemy, to afflict our souls, which is made up of our mind, our will, and our emotions.

So the real us, our spirit, has no fear!

The challenge is allowing our spirit--the Spirit of Christ Jesus, with Whom we are united, once we have repented of our sins and received Him into our hearts as our Savior and LORD--to take over. We can choose to yield our spirit and soul and body to the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, and overcome fear.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.--2 Timothy 1:7, KJV

I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.--Psalm 34:4, KJV

Ask the LORD, your loving Daddy God (once you have repented of your sins, and received His Son, the LORD Jesus Christ, as your Savior and LORD that is!), to help you yield your spirit to His Spirit, and focus on Him and His goodness to you. You can ask Him to take the blood of Jesus and cleanse your conscience from "dead works", (like Hebrews 9:14 says) which includes fear and anything not from God.

He will help you! He will wash your soul with the Living Water of His Word--by inspiring you to read and memorize and speak His Word; to pray to Him; to worship Him, especially to Scripture-based songs; to attend a Bible-believing church; and to fellowship with true Believers in Christ; and to make any other changes to bless and benefit you. He is very patient, sees the end from the beginning, and believes in you!

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.--John 7:38, KJV

For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.--Isaiah 50:7, KJV

Keep practicing this, and it will become easier. You can walk in much more faith (trust and belief in God, Who loves you and sacrificed His Son so you can have an amazing life! John 10:10!) and freedom than you've ever known before, by His help!
