GOD'S CHILDREN ARE GETTING READY!

by linzy bruno
11/01/2023 / Prophecy

When we believe in the Rapture, we tend to make ourselves more holy, in order of preparation: that amazing moment we stand before Him!

1John 3:1-3--

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.”

Also See: 2Timothy 4:8

Let Scripture interpret itself--

1JOHN 3

--Verse 1 illustrates the depth of God’s Love for His children. Through calling believers ‘children of God,’ we see the adoption; no one can come to Him except through Christ and when we do that in all sincerity, we are adopted by Him and become a child of God.

“5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,” (Ephesians 1:5)

“4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons." And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” (Galatians 4:4-7)

“6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)

--Verse 2 This verse says we will see Him. This idea that we will see Him is also illustrated in the most commonly referred to Rapture verse in all of the Bible; making them parallel verses.

 1Thessalonians 4:16-17—

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

Verse 3—Paul is saying that everyone who believes, or “has this hope,” will make themselves ready to face their LORD, thus, they will make themselves more holy; purifying themselves.

IN 2Timothy 4:8, Paul is speaking of one of the 5 crowns believers can receive on Judgement Day that are revealed in Scripture. This crown is received by all who “loved His Appearing.”

Furthermore, there are prophecies being fulfilled right under our noses, which is further confirmation that our rescue is coming soon! There’s one about the vaccine, which is still unfolding. See Revelation 18:23 below, and the attention of the whole world on Israel right NOW. See Zachariah 12; particularly verses 1-3. And the deception over the vaccine and other deceptions going on now throughout all of society. See 2Thessalonians 2:9-12.

Moreover, there are others on the cusp of being fulfilled, like Isaiah 17:1.

Interestingly enough, the very first prophetic statement is recorded in Genesis 3:15, when God spoke to the Serpent and told him that he would be the cause of Jesus’ Crucifixion, but Jesus will have the ultimate victory; He will crush his head!

“And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.” (Genesis 3:15)

REFERENCED SCRIPTURES:

“The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.” (Revelation 18:23)

“The burden of the word of the LORD against Israel. Thus says the LORD, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him: Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when the lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, through all nations of the earth are gathered against it.” (Zachariah 12:1-3)

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all powers, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2Thessalonians 2:9-12)

“The burden against Damascus, “Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, And it will be a ruinous heap.” (Isaiah 17:1)
