You Are Safe With Jesus: Delivered From Death!

Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. - Psalm 33:18, KJV

The LORD is so good! His will is that no person ever perish (die), but that we live a long, strong, healthy, free, abundant life (John 10:10).

It was that way from the Beginning (Genesis 1). However, man sinned and plunged the entire human race into sin and darkness and death from that point forward.

Then, God had great mercy, and sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Savior, to earth to save us from eternal separation from Heaven and from Him Who is Abundant Life!

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.- John 10:10, KJV

Jesus experienced life as a human man, and died on the cross as a human man--but with the pure blood of God the Father, Who overshadowed the virgin Mary, to be born as a human baby.

We celebrate Christmas in December. Christmas is not really about giving each other presents, but we do that to show love and to remember that Jesus Christ, the only Savior of the world, is The Gift from God (Elohim, Who created and sustains the universe and all living things!) that no person can ever do without!

Death is not only physical, but emotional, mental, social, financial, and, most importantly, spiritual.

Adam and Eve died spiritually when they sinned against God in the Garden of Eden, and thus their children--which includes every person ever born, or that ever will be born--are all born into the sin nature of the devil, instead of the holy nature of God, which was the intent of the Creator from the start.

Spiritual death is separation from God. That's what happens to a person if they never receive the regeneration of their spirits by repenting of the sin that comes at birth (the unfortunate default of all humans!), and they die physically; spiritual death; eternal separation from God the Father, Who is Love (I John 4:8)--all good and only good, forever!

However, God is so very gracious that, even if a person lives a sin-filled life apart from Him (like a rebellious, estranged child who has no relationship with his or her parent(s)), and then at the last breath of their bodies before death, repents and asks the LORD to forgive them and for Jesus to come into their lives and be their Savior and LORD, He will forgive and save them, and cleanse and cover them with the blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross over 2,000 years ago!

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. - Romans 10:13, KJV

Hallelujah!

How great and good is the God Who loves us so much that He sacrificed His only Son, Who was the Firstborn among many (for every one of us who truly receive the true Jesus as Savior and LORD instantly are delivered from spiritual death/separation from God, and are adopted into the Royal Family of God, for a good life here on earth, and an eternal heavenly Home with the Godhead! Hallelujah!

Remember zombies? That's what every human is who has never repented of their sins (and all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God--until the Blood of Jesus covers us!) is like; a walking dead person!

But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.- Isaiah 59:2, KJV

It's just like a loving parent, or a teacher with a student, who has to deal with a child who continues to rebel. Often, there is a forced separation, which is not the will of the parent, but necessary to discipline the child and show them the error of their ways, in the hope they will repent and return to the family, with the right attitude.

It is only the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus that gives us true life; life as God has it!

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.- Romans 8:1-2, KJV

It is an amazing thing that we can know the true God Who created us and all matter, and Who keeps it going, while we live on earth--and then be with Him in perfect eternal relationship in Heaven after our bodies die (when our spirits, which are eternal, separate from our bodies and go to Heaven if we have repented and received Christ Jesus God's Son as our Savior and LORD--or to hell if we have not)!

When we repent of our sins and receive Jesus Christ as our (only) Savior and LORD, He immediately translates us from the defeated and temporary kingdom of darkness (the devil), into the glorious, victorious, eternal Kingdom of Light, of the LORD Jesus Christ! Hallelujah!

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. - I Peter 2:9-10, KJV

Yes, the moment we truly repent and receive Jesus Christ, we become right with God. That's what righteousness is--not works, not abstaining from sin (although we do these things because the Spirit of God Who comes into our heart the moment we get born again (regeneration of our spirit, the eternal part of us), but simply choosing (and it is a choice that only each of us can make, and which each of us is responsible to make!) Christ Jesus as Savior and LORD is what makes us right with God, Who is holy!

Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:- Romans 3:22-24, KJV

He makes it so easy! He is for us, not against us!

More than one globally-respected preacher have stated, "God didn't have to do anything!" (to save us!)

But He did, because He is good, and He knows we could never save ourselves!

Hallelujah!

So only being right with God (by repentance and faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ at the cross, to save us!) can truly deliver us from (spiritual) death, which is forever!

In this weird and dangerous, ever-changing world, you are only really safe with the true God, the LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ, Who died on the cross for you, and was resurrected three days later, seen by hundreds in His resurrected body, then went to Heaven, where He lives forever, waiting for you to repent and receive Him, so He can love and help and protect you like you've never known!

Won't you ask Christ Jesus to make you right with Him and His Father, God (Who will become your Father the moment you receive Jesus His Son!) today? You have nothing to lose (but the bad), and Heaven and deep, wonderful, satisfying relationship with the One Who loves and created you to gain!

And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba Father. - Galatians 4:6

Ill-gotten gains do not profit, But righteousness delivers from death. - Proverbs 10:2

Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, But righteousness deliver from death. - Proverbs 11:4
