SOCIETY NOW HATES CHRISTIANITY

It used to be that secular society had trouble with Christianity, mainly just when someone claiming to be a follower of Christ misrepresented Christianity; predominantly due to judgment of the unsaved. However, through the current rhetoric and protective laws no longer applying to Christians, it’s clear that we are seen as the enemy of society and hated for any and all declarations of devotion to our King Jesus.

This dramatic shift did not come without warning from above. There are Scriptures that shine a bright light on this highly concerning development. Moreover, this present worldwide condition is one of the biggest signs that the end of the world as we know it, is near and getting closer to fruition every single day. Nevertheless, believers in Jesus do not have to be afraid, but we do have to be mature enough to withstand such an injustice; speak up for Truth, all the while abiding in the willingness to endure persecution. Persecution will not come to every believer, but we cannot allow the possibility of it to affect our obedience to God. We must go forward with speaking the Truth in whatever form that may take, through social media types of Christian postings, a personal encounter, or a public display of faith, and whatever other platforms that may become available. In short, we cannot allow the fear of man to influence our decision-making, but continue going forward with whatever God is putting in our hearts to do and/or say for the sake of the Gospel Message.

As for a case-in-point, recently Pastor Jack Hibbs was invited to deliver a prayer at a congressional gathering, but because he did not use ear-tickling language of inclusivity, but bravely spoke up for JESUS, he is now under major persecution. Check out the video link below. Mike Johnson invited him to deliver the prayer before unsaved congress members of both democrat and republican persuasion in the hopes that it would move them in the Spirit, but instead our government is sicking the IRS on Jack; threatening to revoke his church’s tax exempt status! Furthermore, Jack’s good name is being dragged through the mud mainly through lies regarding what he said, due to the wicked motives of those who hate God in our government. Moreover, Jack most definitely knew that he was sticking his neck out for Jesus, yet he went forth in boldness and continues to stand his ground regardless of the consequences that might ensue.

In addition to this example, there are many more. In some pagan countries, Christians are physically tortured for their faith with knives and other weapons, or shot, yet they bravely refuse to give in and deny Christ; knowing they would be set free if they would only do so. And, the authorities are arresting Christians in certain regions for singing hymns in front of abortion clinics. See 3 video links below.

And there is more governmental-style persecution also occurring. The Biden family is known for extensive corporate misdealings, lies and theft, yet they are allowed to continue in their comfy lives and remain in charge of most everything in the world. But, with Trump, they slap a slew of charges that most everyone knows are bogus. Why? Because he is a professing Christian and they know he will not go along with the One World Order they so desperately want to implement. In fact, he is the guy standing in their evil way. That’s why they want him in prison, so he will not be able to be reinstated into the highest office in the land.

Along with all of this, the powers-that-be are intentionally using gas lighting and other forms of propaganda to mislead the masses into believing that we are a freedom-loving nation, but somehow ‘nationalism’ is suddenly distasteful. So now we are “Christian Nationalists,” like that’s a bad thing. But then again, we were warned this would happen in Isaiah 5:20:

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

And in addition to this, they expect otherwise intelligent people to believe that all of a sudden being a devoted Christian is synonymous with being a “domestic terrorist.” And the other derogatory name they are calling us is ‘Religious Extremists!” These accusations are truly laughable, yet highly problematic.

BUT, for those of us who believe, there is no need for fear, for when we are persecuted, we are blessed because when we stand by Jesus, we cannot lose! We get to look forward to the rewards we will receive in Heaven, the Lord abiding inside of us motivating us to keep going, and the Power of God to enable us to make it through. With God we are afforded the courage to refuse to cower, and continue making HIM the only One we fear, as we read in 1Samuel 12:24.

“Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.” (Matthew 24:9)

“If the world hates you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.” (John 15:18-20)

Jesus warned us that we would be persecuted for His Name’s Sake during the Last Days, so even though the Church Age is still with us, as we still live as such: we have our homes, jobs and cars, we come and go, marry, build and so forth (See Matthew 24:38 & Mark 12:25); we are nevertheless seeing evil taking over, as the God-hating elites plot the demise of the godly. Still, we need not fear, for Jesus is so near!

THEREFORE----SEEK HIM WHILE HE IS STILL NEAR:

“Seek, ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.” (Isaiah 55:6)
