Innocence.
She is purely innocent.
Love has filled her days.
She knows no grief.
Pains are quickly comforted
in the arms of her parents.
Faith comes easy.
Hope is fresh each day.
Daily she wakes expecting
something special.
Fun is always close at hand.
At days end she finds peace
nestled by mother’s heart.
Let me be like her, Father.
Instill innocence and purity in me.
Your love heals my grief
and comforts my pain.
May my faith expand daily
as I see and grow with you.
Restore my hope for tomorrow.
May I wake to expect
something special from you.
I love ending my days
seeking to nestle in your arms.
