Food for Thought

There are those who eat just vegetables
And those who eat it all
It really does not matter though
Whether you're big or small

For what goes into the mouth of man
This does not man, condemn
Into the stomach it does go
And exits a B. M.

If you really want to know the truth
Keep reading now my friend
For Jesus put this very clear
I pray you comprehend

He said be careful of what you hear
Into your heart words go
And there they're planted just like seeds
Like seeds those words will grow

Now Jesus said what measure you give
Those words with yours infused
Now if you have - you'll gain some more
Now please don't get confused

He also said those that do not have
Now what they have they'll lose
So please be careful what you hear
It's up to you to choose

God searches the heart of each of us
To see what's planted there
Out of the abundance He sends forth
That's what you speak my dear

Out of the mouth condemnation comes
It starts by planting seeds
Not only from the words you hear
Could come from what one reads

Now if you wish to be right with God
Start studying His Word
His Words were sent to give you life
Don't leave His Word unheard

Just two more things I will now declare
Believe God is - is first
And He'll reward all those who'll seek
Be in His Words Immersed
