To the one who makes me happy
To the one who makes me smile
To the one who turned the other cheek
To go the extra mile.

For all our joys and sorrows
For the laughter and the pain
For our many years together
And happiness regained.

Without you there beside me
Without your love and care
Without your deep compassion
My life I couldn't bear.

You are my reason for living
You are my very life
You are my whole being
Without all of the strife.

I may not often show it
It may not often show
But deep inside my being
My love for you flows.

I thank you Heavenly Father
For joining us in love
For binding us together
By the power of your love.

I live in East London, South Africa. Have three grown-up daughters. I love to write. Have been involved in christian couselling. My other intersts are my animals,my garden, reading and I look after those in our body who need help. I plan to publish a devotional this year.
