NBA, NHL, NFL, or ?

36 have been accused of spousal abuse.
7 have been arrested for fraud.
19 have been accused of writing bad checks.
117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses.
3 have done time for assault.
71, repeat 71, can not get a credit card because of bad credit.
14 have been arrested on drug-related charges.
8 have been arrested for shoplifting.
21 are currently defendants in lawsuits.
84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year.

Can you guess which this is?

NBA, NHL, NFL?

NONE. It's 535 members of the United States Congress. Think about these facts when you go to the voting polls this year 2008 or any year. Do you want people of these low caliber passing Bills 'to protect us'? Who's going to protect us from them? THINK ABOUT IT!

Now on to more pleasant thoughts.

Rummage rewards One man's trash can certainly be another man's treasure. Want to find yours? Here's a few tips to stretch the family's budget and find some great items along the way.

Set a budget of what you plan to spend so you won't overdo it. Bring one dollar bills. It makes buying little items easier.
Before buying an object think of three different ways you'll be
able to use it so you'll not be buying items that will be clutter later.
Carefully inspect each item. Sometimes dings are covered by price tags.
Be sure to take a small tape measure. You don't want to buy a large item and find it doesn't fit.
It's always good to be friendly and have fun.
One last tip. If you have always been a 'yard sale junkie' and have
reformed, have a yard sale yourself and recoup some of your money.
