Growing or Dying

There is nothing in this world that stays the same
To not grow in the knowledge of God, one should feel ashamed.

We must believe that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.
Our attitude about God in this life will determine whether we sink or swim.

There is nothing in this world that we should pursue greater.
This knowledge is far too important to postpone til later.

To not know and obey our God, death is almost certain
For he will be hidden from us like a window with a curtain.

Growth by knowledge and obedience, is the wisest thing to do.
Death by ignorance and disobedience is what the foolish pursue.

Growth only occurs when one applies what he learns
Being a doer and not a hearer only, will yield life's' greatest returns,

Choose today to grow as long as you live and never stop.
Or death will chase you down like a tiger until you drop.


Prayer: Lord give me a hunger for the things of God and godly knowledge. Let me not choose ignorance deceiving myself that I am escaping obedience. In Jesus name, Amen.
