Neon Neighbours
Frightening as death the sea
is a surf of danger
a fearfulness for those
afraid of its measure
promenade not too closely
along its rocky shore.
Beneath waves of steel
a slingshot of pain lingers
and dwellers in seaside
homes are captivated by the
swelling menace.
