Why God Allows Pain

by Benjamin Graber
12/08/2006 / Poetry

A plant that never tasted rain,
An athlete that never stretched,
Ore that never walked through fire,
So would I be without trials

You prune a tree, it gives more fruit,
You bury a seed, it grows a plant,
And Im made stronger through the trials

Why does God allow pain in my life?
Because
He loves me.

My greatest desire as a poet is to inspire the reader to follow Christ more closely, love more deeply, or experience joy more fully.
A showcase of my poetry can be viewed at www.findingthesecret.com, and my newest poems can be viewed at my blog at http://climbingrainbows.blogspot.com.
