I am but a guest you see,
Treading in this place.
Enjoying all the finery,
Adorned with such grace.

I rise in Spring of the day,
The dawn fresh and new.
I reflect a moment and pray,
For this beauty I thank You.

A table that is bountiful,
To smell, to taste, to touch.
My Host is commendable,
To bless me with so much.

Conversation eases my mind,
From anxious anticipation.
I am waiting on Your time,
For an Earthly segregation.

For tho' I am cared for well,
Nostalgia comes over me.
I long for the place I will dwell
Til the end of eternity.

New author trying to see if writing is my calling.
