Tony looked at me
As if he knew .
Dared me
As he pounced away
Into the garden
Wrestling a flower

I called him,
Haughtily
Up went
His tail
His paws
Stepped him
Out of reach

Tony knew
And wouldn't come
Because Tony sensed
I'd return
But not for him
And he attacked
The powerless flower
