THE PRAYER GOD WILL FIRST ANSWER

by ABRAHAM ALADEMERIN
9/11/2012 / Salvation

Are you there, dear reader?

The burdens of the people of this world are many. Many are those which the enemies have made to serve under satanic oppression, obsession, depression, suppression, afflictions, etc; which have brought unto them poverty, sadness, sorrow, sickness or disease, fear and hard bondage, and made many to be demon possessed. In addition, many are those that belong to occult societies among many other bondages of the devil. Many are aware of these mysterious imprisonments and others are not because they have been blindfolded by the devil.

People are in terrible dilemma, a difficult perplexed situation and they seem to have no profitable hope in future. Rather than choose well between good and bad, they are in such situations to compulsorily or compromisingly choose bad and unfavorable (to manage calling it destiny), and the world seems to them as if there is no Creator. Indeed, there is a Creator and there is also a murderer of creatures but they do not know the Creator-God Almighty (Genesis 1 and 2). The one they know and bow their heads to is the murderer called the Devil (John 8:44). Why? For they lacked the knowledge of God.

The Bible says:

"For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge" (Jer 4:22).

Are you a victim of the aforementioned? If you are, you are in the captive chain of the devil and you need to be delivered from this bondage. The knowledge of God, the Creator, is all you need in your life to come out of darkness into the light of God, which is "JESUS CHRIST". When you recognize His name in your life then your problems will be automatically solved.

Secondly, you have heard about Jesus as the Savior of the whole world or you are a backslider who is reluctant in coming back to Him because you find it difficult to resist the devil in your life and hold unto Jesus. For you love darkness rather than light, because of your evil deeds (John 3:17-21). Overall, your problem is that you have not really recognized your chief burden which only Jesus your rejecter can remove. Nobody else in the world, in heavens, and underneath the heart can do that for you.

The Psalmist-David recognized the chief burden of his life and in his prayer to God addressed the issue and received answers of deliverance, protection and breakthrough spiritually and physically. He said:

"Then called me upon the name of the Lord. O Lord I beseech thee, deliver my soul" (Ps 116:4). "Show us thy mercy O Lord and grant us thy salvation "(Ps 85:7).

He first called upon the name of the Lord and he prayed and asked God for mercy and the salvation of his soul. However, before he called upon the name of the Lord for mercy, he recognized he was a sinner that needed to be forgiven of his sins.

Jesus spoke a parable in Luke 18:9-14 of two different individual that prayed different prayers to God in a temple.

"Two men went up into the temple to pray, the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortionists, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week; I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man (publican) went down to his house justified rather than the other (Pharisee); for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted".

Unlike the Pharisee full of pride and of self righteousness, the publican like the psalmist also recognize his life chief burden and called upon God in total submission and humility, saying, "GOD BE MERCIFUL TO ME A SINNER" (verses 13). When you recognized yourself a sinner, and call upon God, He has no other choice than to forgive you of your sins and instantly you become justified. For this reason, the Bible says:

"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19).

In the life of a man, God listens to the prayer of repentance and forgiveness before any other. Have you recognized you are a sinner? You are in the state you are today because you are a sinner. Is the forgiver of sin Jesus, yet to manifest in your life? You have not repented of your sins and dedicated your life to the Lord and Savior-JESUS or you have taken a step of salvation before but sin still lingers in your life and you have developed cold feet of self-righteousness like the Pharisee. You have lost the battle to the devil who daily loads you with diverse temptations and you become classical sinner. Be aware that unforgiving sin leads to death.

"But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death" (James 1:14, 15).

The devil has completely enticed you by false lips and that makes you a lost and a lustful child who have not the fear of God but heading for destruction. It is better today for you to be reconciled to God, make peace with Him through His Son Jesus Christ.

"For the son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10).

"This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners" (1Timothy 1:15).

Is only Jesus that can save you, and you cannot be saved by Him without you first removing the burden of your life which is your sin through genuine repentance. Let your heart and household embrace Jesus Christ today by personally or collectively as a family confess all your sins and call upon Him to have mercy on you like the psalmist and the publican, to purge you of all your unrighteousness with His precious blood. Tell God that today by the precious blood of your Son Jesus Christ "deliver my soul and grant me your salvation". This is the first prayer God will answer after your repentance and confession, He will surely come into your life and deliver you from trouble and sorrow, from hardship and torments, and you shall have rest to your soul, and begin to declare the works of the LORD. God is willing to save all families that call upon Him. Therefore, your own invitation is a light into your home.

Give your life to Jesus today for now is the day of your salvation. This message is the voice of God to you today. God needs your immediate response to His redeeming feature. You will provoke Him sore if you fail to respond to His call of reconciliation. Open up your heart and speak to your Creator for mercy

"While it is said, Today if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts as in the provocation" (Heb 3:15).

Will you just hearken to His voice just as you are? He is inviting you "NOW". He is just the way out of your problems and the entrance to the kingdom of heaven. For God being the owner, no one can enter the kingdom of heaven except through His Son Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior by whom and for Him all things in heaven and earth came to be. He created me, you and all other creatures for Himself (Col 1:16).

Bow down your head and make amends-repent genuinely, make the first prayer God will answer. Ask for mercy, for deliverance of your soul and the granting unto you the salvation of God through Christ Jesus. The blood of Jesus will definitely cleanse you of all your unrighteousness. He will forget your past, no matter how evil it was, and give you a new spirit of adoption as His child.
