The Promise Land

On the way to my promise land I will praise Thee,
With the spirit of David,
Up and down the streets,
My destination is near,
I will shout for joy while I weep,
For my reward is coming,
When I close my eyes before I sleep,
My soul will be delivered to your hands,
And I will bow,
Kneel and kiss your feet,
On my way to the promise land,
I will praise and leap,
For that day is coming,
I will praise Thee
