Vs1:
I still need You more, Lord Jesus
I need You, Man of Calvary
Indeed, I've not known You enough
There's gap between us like a gulf
Chorus:
Lord I need You fresh again!
Oh now more than yesterday!
Forgive my heart vague and proud
May the need for You abound
Vs2:
My knowledge of You is shallow
Grant me depth, pierce through my marrow
Oh, to know You beyond mere head!
That You're my Lord, Saviour and Friend
Vs3:
When I look into you dear Lord,
I see virtues in how You walked
But looking in my inward parts
I see vices, Lord help my heart!
Vs4:
Lord I must confess, though your saint
My hunger for You is so faint
Mundane things have entered my heart
Deliver me, attend my path
Vs5:
Often I err in how I think
Often I fail, often I shrink
Because I thought that I could do
With You, O Lord I need You!
