What a glorious resurrection
From the grave of iniquity
Under the wings of div'nity

Oh salvation, sweet and free!
What a new dawn, free indeed!
Have you this blessed assurance?
What a merciful acceptance!

Vs2:
Oh salvation, sweet salvation!
Great and strong emancipation
From the enemy's tearing claws
Into the Father's holy love

Vs3:
Oh salvation, sweet salvation
How sweet is God's intervention
To a hopeless me, weak and lost
I'm so grateful, O my Jesus!

Vs4:
Now has true life began for me
Because my Lord I have found Thee!
Help me to be lowly and meek
Renew my strength when I am weak

Vs5:
Salvation free, salvation sweet!
Perfect sacrifice so complete
Any soul who dares to come in
Into Christ's Blood ll'be cleansed from sin!

A sister called me today and shared with me the testimony of her salvation.

You could feel the passion that was coming from it while she talked.
Before then I had asked her if she was saved, and she would not be certain, because she was not saved.

Now she called and passionately shared with me how it has happened.
In her last words she said, "If you are saved, you will know you are saved."

That is what is called blessed assurance of salvation.

As I meditated further after my encounter with her, God stirred up my spirit and inspired me with this piece.
