Hindrances To Your Securing Gainful Employment (2)

Rates of unemployment is growing at an alarming one. In many nations, it has grown out of control. This evil has given birth to other evil acts or crimes in various forms. Most of the time, governments are held responsible and many of them are guilty of indeed negligent.

In many cases, government may cannot employ every citizen of her country but every government has the task of creating an enabling environment conducive enough to generate and sustain employment opportunities.

On the other hand, a lot also fall on the unemployed person. That is why I want to mention some hindrances to certain people's employment opportunity.

Before I do this, let me give you this "emotional injection" to provoke you into taking an immediate, serious and Godly steps towards ending your unemployment problem. Do you eat daily? Do you eat at all even if not daily? If you do, it is a mistake because
"If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat." 2 Thessalonians 3:10b. NKJV.

Going by what Apostle Paul wrote in the above verse, do not eat until you work! Now, let us consider other remaining hindrances one by one.
In part one, we have discussed
*arrogance;
*over valuation of self;
*lack of love;and
*lack of service.

Love of money.
If you love money, it is possible you may not secure a gainful job. Examine your heart please. Do you want a place to work to attract money or you want a place where you want to "carry" currency away to your home?
You can interpret "carry" in various forms. I don't think you can ever find a corporation that will allow you to drain her treasury. The whole world is against corruption but approves honesty and faithfulness.

Then register this in your heart,
"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pieced themselves through with many arrows." 1Timothy 6:10. NKJV.

Fear of smallness.
You may fear to start small . I have come across unemployed people who can easily set up their own business to generate some income. Although they agree they can set up one but complain of not having access to million dollars to start. Huu! Many of them are potential "successful business tycoons" who refuse to start small.
Are you one of them? Do not fear to start small to grow to greatness. Leave unemployment market today.

I asked a graduate who studied Animal Production how much he needs to set up a business. His answer was "I will need $1m." He has nowhere to raise this. He agreed to start with a small capital of $100k. I am sure his journey to greatness has started.

Comparison.
It is a serious hinderance to compare yourself with another person. There is no reason to engage in unnecessary comparison of yourself witth friends, brothers, school mates and others. You have your life to live; they have theirs to live.

Therefore, live your live as your Creator designed it. If you stop comparing your life with others, you may consider taking up the next employment opportunity: this may be a paid job or self employment. Cease it!

Now, let me ask you, how is your relationship with your Maker? You need Him in your life. This will afford you the opportunity to ask Him, "Lord, what do you want me to do?" He is ready to lead you to take the next right steps to end your unemployment problem. He can eliminate every hindrances to your gainful employment.
