Broken notes
Discordant tunes
Lacking harmony
Devoid of meaning

Harsh and halting
Dull and dreary
Sad and sorrowful
Faint and fading

Scarred and shattered
Bruised and battered
Lost and lonely
Wilted and withered

I come as I am
To you I bring
The broken notes
That my life sings

Giver of Life
Breathe upon me
Healer and Maker
Make music through me

Take my major hurts
And my minor pains
My highs and lows
Sing through me

Revamp me, Lord
Rebuild the bridge
Restore my tune
Draw me back to You

Make my life Your song
Your Message in every verse
A symphony of Love
A mighty chorus of praise

Let the world hear and know
That You give beauty for ashes
And from boken notes bring
The sweetest music ever composed
