Harden Not Your Heart

Hebrews 10:26-27

“If I DELIBERATELY keep on sinning after I have received the knowledge of the truth,
no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of
raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.”

As I watch the news, and read the articles online, I see the anger and the confusion all over the world; people are hating others for no good reason, there is an increase of violence, strange and baffling behavior, and an increase of negative and downright evil behavior.

People are coming out the shadows proclaiming their behavior is right and not wrong: a mother and a child in a sexual affair, satanists wanting to set up 'satan clubs' in local school systems, the increase of the sex slave trade and extreme pornography, people having
sex with animals, the legalization of same sex marriages and the passing of transgender bathroom laws, the rise of racism and prideful, selfish behavior against everything and everyone.

These behaviors are the consequence of straying far from God's standards. God's way of life consists in love and selflessness. He urges His children to seek His face and guidance in their lives, and to reflect His character. Knowing how to reflect Christlike behavior begins with submitting your life to Christ, and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts and actions.

Reading the word of God gives you a foundation upon which to discern what is good and what is evil. More people now than ever before are doing things that would shock their grandmothers and great grandfathers, and they will tell you there is nothing wrong with it. It is because they can only see what they desire and want in their lives, and they can't see how it is destroying them and the lives of the people around them.

As a child of divorce, I know that my parents loved me; their decision to separate seemed to be the right thing to do at the time. They could not see what effect this decision would have on my life, because they could only see the benefits to themselves. This is how many people see all the things that are happening now: adultery and divorce, violence and murder, lying and stealing, casual sex and unhealty relationships are all a result of people doing things their own way without thinking of the consequences.

The Lord will not stop anyone from doing things their own way, but you should be warned of the consequences:

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?

Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,

nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards,

nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified,

but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

My brother and sisters, we are all guilty of doing things that hurt ourselves and the people that we care about, so this is not a case of me saying that I have never sinned. I have made many mistakes and I am glad that the Lord has forgiven me, but He would not have forgiven me if I had kept on doing those things. Please believe that anyone reading this blog is not far from the kingdom of heaven, you just need to acknowledge that the way you are living is not good, and is in fact destroying you. Reach out to the One who can heal you, and He will show you grace and mercy. Don't let your own desires distract you from the coming wrath to come for those who refuse to live by His standards.

We are living in a period of grace and mercy, as He reaches out to everyone in the world by His Word and His Spirit, but as you can see everyday brings worse behavior and worse consequences for the people living here on planet earth. The time of grace and mercy is almost
up, and when it is done, there will be no hope left in the hearts of those that remain.

I urge you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you have nothing to lose and literally everything to gain: Salvation, Redemption, Peace Of Heart, Fearless Love, a Father and a Friend in Jesus, Resting in Him, Joy and Happiness, The Inheritance of the Saints, which includes the earth and His universe, and everlasting Love and Awe in His Presence . There is nothing in this world that
can compare to that!

Are you saying to yourself, "I want this! How can I receive it?" repeat the lord's prayer with faith in your heart:

Prayer of Salvation

Lord,

I repent for trying to be master of my own life. I change my mind about who I want to be in charge of my life. I turn from my useless and unproductive thoughts that I am the center of my universe and choose to believe in the living God who created everything, including me (Acts 14:15). I have lived without a purpose but now I will live to hear and obey You, God (Jn. 5:19, 20,30).

I confess with my lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. I believe that God so loved the world He sent His only Son Jesus to shed His blood to wash away the barrier of sin (Jn. 3:16)

I receive You, Jesus as MY Lord and Savior (Jn. 1:11,12).

I welcome You, Holy Spirit, into my life to rescue and empower me and to restore me to intimacy with my heavenly Father (Acts 2:38).

If you just confessed this prayer, you are saved! I welcome you into the family my (brother/sister) I pray for peace, joy, and happiness in your life as you allow the Lord to love you and bless you and give you assurance of everlasting life with Him forever and ever......PRAISE GOD!

May the Lord keep you and Bless you this day....Amen
